the X3 Assembly Hall, Body Shop, and Paint
Shop. They will see live examples of BMW’s
value-add production system (VPS). BMW’s VPS
philosophy includes elimination of any waste,
non-value-adding processes and maximization
of worker utilization.
See how Caterpillar Forest Products executes a
low volume, high mix product base. Strategies
that will be highlighted include: CAT Production
System, customer-driven quality system, cell tool
boards, and Product Champion Round Table.

in station and other examples of continuous
